Green Juice Gummies Prove That No Food Trend Is Immune To Becoming Gummified

Forget the waitlist for boozy candies, the creators of last summer's must-have rosé gummies are back, but with another beverage inspired confection that takes a healthier twist.
Sugarfina, purveyors of luxe candies including a line of liquor-infused gummies, has added Pressed Juicery to its list of partners, creating a Green Juice gummy made with the cold pressed juice company's green juice, a blend of spinach, apple, lemon, and ginger concentrate enhanced with natural coloring from spirulina and turmeric.
Similar their gummy vitamin predecessors, these green bears provides 20% of your daily recommended Vitamin A and C intake per 14-piece, 132 calorie serving. The gummies also have 17 grams of sugar, 2 grams of protein and no fiber or other nutrients, so it would be a stretch to call the fluorescent candies a health food, but rosé gummies are completely vitamin deficient, so they are a slight step up.
The idea for the Green Juice Gummy Bears surfaced last spring, as an April Fool's prank that the Internet refused to believe was just a joke on our current trend-obsessed food economy. Sugarfina fielded an unprecedented amount of calls from potential customers wanting to actually purchase green juice infused candies, and the idea started to become a reality.
